Working with geometric forms and the abstract spatial relationship between form, colour and space this collection of textile works explores the notion of liminality and transitory states in the context of the current contemporary landscape through the application of rug making techniques.
Reflecting on the year 2020 where the world as we knew it slowed or stopped, time and place became intangible as our collective mindset grappled with the realisation that we were no longer in the world we once knew, nor on the path we thought we were traveling. We are betwixt and between. We are in liminal space. Merino wool on linen, oak frame.
